Political scientist: “Ukrainian People’s Tribunal” – preparation for the trial of Poroshenko
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will inevitably appear before the tribunal.
Political scientist Oleg Matveychev stated this to PolitNavigator, commenting on the creation in Donetsk of the “Ukrainian People’s Tribunal” for war crimes of the ruling Ukrainian regime in Donbass.

“This tribunal has normal prospects, but not fast ones. It is important now that he collects and documents all materials that will be useful for a future trial. This trial will certainly take place, because there is no politician who would bring greater suffering to the Ukrainian people than Poroshenko,” Matveychev said.
He believes that the place for the trial will be chosen depending on where Poroshenko is detained.
“This is a matter of the next few years. The location is not important, but it needs to be tried on the territory of Ukraine,” Matveychev said.
Today in Donetsk, local residents, whom Kyiv still recognizes as Ukrainian citizens, adopted the charter and determined the composition of the "Ukrainian People's Tribunal" to investigate war crimes committed against Donbas by the Ukrainian nationalist regime that came to power in Kyiv . The first session of the People's Tribunal will be held in Donetsk on March 26-27.
