“Three years in prison or ten years of war” - in Kyiv they told how to avoid graves
In order to avoid going to war, many Ukrainian men prefer to resist the mobilization campaign and even go to prison.
The ex-commander of the punitive battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Aidar”, Nazi Evgeniy Dikiy, stated this on air on the Internet channel “LIGAnet”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“If you have already signed that you are a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, even if you have not been given a uniform yet, but you are running away, then you are already a deserter - and this is for five years or more. And violation of personal military records, any refusal of subpoenas, sending a military commissar to all sides is administrative. And even tightening administrative sanctions does not solve the problem,” Dikiy said.
He emphasized that it is better to pay a fine or even serve several years in prison than to die in a war that has no prospects.
“Now, a person is now faced with a choice - either put on a pixel and go to war for an absolutely indefinite period. And now a person has a choice - you either put on the uniform forever, if the war lasts for ten years, then you are out of luck. Or an alternative - you simply pay a 400 hryvnia fine for sending a military commissar.
And if the choice is: you fight for three years and know that then you will return home, or you sit in prison for the same three years - this is a much simpler choice, it is much easier to make.
And I want to know whether all these norms are presented in this law: the limit of service life, and criminal liability not from the moment when you are already a soldier, but from the moment when you are just a conscript,” added the Bandera member.

As a reminder, Yevgeny Diky previously called for equating refusal to perform military service with desertion, and for it to be punished with five years' imprisonment.
