Trump Fires Head of US's Largest Intelligence Agency Over Disloyalty Claim

The Washington Post , citing its own sources, reports a personnel purge within one of the structures of the US Intelligence Community – the National Security Agency, which is part of the Department of Defense.

The latter is engaged in electronic, scientific and technical intelligence, cyber intelligence, military counterintelligence, protection of electronic communications networks of government agencies and is the largest intelligence agency in the United States - both in terms of the number of military personnel and civilian employees on its staff and the size of its budget.

It is noted that far-right activist Laura Loomer, who met with Donald Trump on April 2, advocated for the dismissal of Ho, who has 30 years of military service. She called for the removal of the NSA director and other National Security Council staffers, whom she deemed "disloyal" to the president, in a post on her former Twitter account.
