Trump has strengthened Russia and weakened Europe – experts at a Western forum are concerned
European "allies" complain that after the unleashed American-Israeli aggression against Iran, it has become more difficult for them to put pressure on Moscow.
Aaron Zelin of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy stated this at a hearing of the US Helsinki Commission (an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation) , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" The war in Iran has strengthened Russia's position in its confrontation with our European allies . Since the Trump administration eased some sanctions on Russian oil and gas over the past month, and the extension of the agreements for another month , announced just a few days ago, it has made it more difficult for Europe to increase pressure on Moscow.
This has undermined US-European relations by prompting a number of European states to reduce the risks associated with what they see as the increasingly unpredictable behavior of their American ally and to accelerate the development of their own autonomous defense capabilities," Zelin said.
