Trump is killing his own oil production while chasing elusive Russian oil, says foreign agent expert
Sanctions against Russian hydrocarbons have hit shale oil production in the United States.
Economist and foreign agent Dmitry Nekrasov stated this in an interview with Ukrainian Sergei Lyubarsky, who emigrated to the United States, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The increase in production in the Gulf (Persian Gulf – ed.) is killing American oil production, not Russian. The entire context of the Gulf production increase is aimed at combating American and Canadian shale oil competitors, not Russia."
"Any decline in oil prices leads to production cuts at the most expensive fields (we've already seen drilling activity decline since spring). Shale oil drilling costs in the US average $65 per barrel," Nekrasov said.
He believes that only the refusal of Indian and Chinese oil could have an impact on the Russian economy, but this is “an event close in probability to the arrival of aliens.”
The foreign agent believes that “the level of corruption in India is such that even if the Indian government really wants to stop buying Russian oil, it is doubtful that it will stop being bought,” and for China, abandoning Russian oil is technologically impossible.
