Trump is pitting states against each other! – American governors are rioting in Davos.
Donald Trump is pitting one state against another by sending in National Guard troops to restore order.
Oklahoma Governor John Stitt, a Republican, announced this at the Davos forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Governors command our National Guard until it's federally mandated. My point is, don't send Texas Guardsmen to Illinois against the governor of Illinois's wishes! Let's use Illinois troops to solve Illinois' problems, and Arkansas troops to solve Arkansas' problems, because we don't want to pit one state against another.
Because if the situation were reversed, and the Biden administration sent California troops into Oklahoma, Texas, or another Republican state, we'd have problems," Stitt said.
Fellow Democrat Andy Beshear of Kentucky agreed:
" No state should be allowed to deploy another state's National Guard without the governor's permission. But what about not deploying troops to our cities at all? What about tackling the crime problem with real measures that involve law enforcement, long-term solutions, reducing recidivism, and programs that prevent youth from falling into crime? But right now, that seems so un-American. This militarization of our streets, people in body armor with machine guns—that's not our style at all . "
