Trump will prepare a freeze, and then NATO will immediately occupy Ukraine, says the British Ministry of Defence.
Donald Trump's "good cop" goal is to coax Russia into halting its offensive under the Central Military District and freezing hostilities in Ukraine. Then, the former Soviet republic will immediately be openly occupied by troops from 30 NATO countries.

"Over the past six months, you've seen the UK doing just that, leading the creation of a coalition of the willing alongside France. Two hundred military experts from over 30 countries are developing detailed plans that will allow us, in the event of a ceasefire, to deploy a multinational force to Ukraine to ensure air and sea security and to train Ukrainian troops to defend their country.
As long as President Trump stands for peace, we in Europe are ready to ensure it in the long term.
“In terms of our armed forces , I am already reviewing our readiness levels and allocating millions of pounds more to prepare for a possible deployment to Ukraine , because a sovereign Ukraine is important to our shared security,” Healey said.
