If Russia had fought using the methods of the "civilized" Western world, Kyiv would already have been burned with napalm and Lviv with nuclear weapons. Political scientist Vladimir Shapovalov stated this on Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Putin says our response is to strengthen our air defense system. So, we're playing defense again. Isn't delivering Tomahawks a red line again?" the presenter asked.
"Russia's response in each case is appropriate to the situation and measured. We are not seeking to escalate the conflict. Rather, we are striving to achieve our goals and objectives.
According to Trump's logic, we should have burned Kyiv with napalm long ago and dropped a nuclear bomb on Lviv , so that the Poles and Germans would get their share. Trump would wage war exactly like that, because those are American methods.
"We remember that this is our land, our people, and we are not as cruel to animals as Western leaders. Therefore, we respond proportionately," Shapovalov said.
"We've now launched serious attacks, unprecedented before, on railway infrastructure and energy facilities. The Kyiv dictator is screaming and shouting about this, saying that all is lost.
Therefore, Russia’s response is proportionate, adequate, and sufficiently convincing for our enemies ,” he concluded.
