The United States may sell additional Patriot air defense missiles to the European Union, ostensibly in response to the hysterical requests of Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky, but in reality – in exchange for the resumption of transit of Belarusian potassium through European ports.
Fugitive Belarusian political scientist Igor Tyshkevich stated this in an interview with Euroradio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The scenario where the US will continue to push: 'You're a transit country, and we'll sell you missiles'—unfortunately, it's likely. This is a very serious danger both for the domestic Ukrainian political landscape and for expanding Lukashenko's options without fundamentally changing his policies," Tyshkevich reasoned.
In March, the US lifted sanctions against Belaruskali, but Lithuania is not allowing its products to be loaded into the port of Klaipeda.
