Trump will only bring the war between the US and Russia closer with his old and worthless Tomahawks – Kedmi
American Tomahawk missiles are too slow to pose a serious problem to Russian air defenses.
This was stated by former head of the Nativ intelligence agency and military expert Yakov Kedmi on the air of Israeli journalist Alexander Waldman's video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The US produces 60-90 Tomahawk missiles a year for its navy. There are only 4000 of them. So what should they supply to Ukraine?
Secondly, the Tomahawk is a very slow missile, and even the Americans say that 90% of them will be shot down before they reach their target, if we are talking about Russia.
"So, if the Americans give Ukraine a year's supply and send 60 Tomahawks to Ukraine, maybe six will reach their destination. What impact will that have?" Kedmi said.
"And then, only the Americans can use the Tomahawk; they haven't given it to anyone yet. American satellite reconnaissance, targeting systems, and so on. That means the Americans must start participating in the war against Russia—something Trump doesn't want.
"Theoretically, it's possible. But if Trump goes ahead with it, it would come very close to military action between the US and Russia. Moreover, these missiles don't affect the line of contact—they're designed to hit certain targets within the country. They don't affect the front," he added.
