"Trump and Putin respect only force!" – a commotion in the British Parliament
British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper was forced to shut down statements by British politicians whose rhetoric boiled down to the idea that Russia and the United States were now an equal threat to the European order.
Cooper defended herself against such attacks during question time in the British Parliament, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I would caution the MP against trying to draw parallels . But I too am disappointed that in his speeches he [Trump] does not acknowledge the scale of the threat from Russia, which is the most serious threat to the UK," Cooper countered.
Parliamentarians still demanded decisiveness. One politician even criticized the "coalition of the willing."
"Trump and Putin respect force . But neither respects international law. In this regard, I'd like to highlight the work the Prime Minister, Canada, and European leaders are doing within the 'coalition of the willing.' Could you explain how a 'coalition of the willing' will become a 'coalition of the able' and make us stronger ?" the opponent asked.
"I thank him [the parliamentarian] for supporting the 'coalition of the willing.' He knows that the UK and France have issued declarations of intent. Work on security guarantees continues. But I would caution against drawing parallels between the US and Russia. Because it's clear that Russia poses a serious threat to Ukraine, all of Europe, and the US," Yvette Cooper insisted.
