Trump Says Outrageous Things About Russia, Putin Sees His Incompetence – American Professor
Donald Trump's ill-considered statements about the state of the Russian army and economy are undermining the already small trust between Moscow and Washington.
American political scientist and professor at the University of Chicago John Mearsheimer stated this on air at the radio station “Spectator TV”, reports a correspondent for “PolitNavigator”.

"The question is, what is the [peace] deal? What does Trump think he can do to end this war? There is no evidence that his administration has any idea how to do that.
Instead, Trump says outrageous things about Russians that, if anything, are aimed at undermining trust between Russians and Americans. And there's little trust there anyway.
"He says the Russians lost a million people, which sounds ridiculous. Or that their economy is in decline, which also sounds ridiculous," Mearsheimer said.
"And he says he's going to do Putin a favor by ending this war, that we're going to do Putin a favor. Do you think that's going to make Putin believe Trump is someone he can trust?
Of course not, Putin doesn’t trust the West at all, and Trump is only making the problem worse,” the professor added.
