" All the small villages, all the small towns—they're real outposts of the Ukrainian armed forces, their powerful units. And we're trying to prevent them from advancing further , capturing our territory, and reaching other cities."

"This means that as long as Ukrainians remain there—I mean the Ukrainian Armed Forces—Russia has no opportunity to occupy Ukraine. I think it's in the West's interests to continue investing in Ukraine, because it's, at the very least, a matter of European security. Ukraine is a true eastern outpost of Europe. He expressed the hope that " you Europeans will not pay for this with your blood" and asked for money and weapons.

"So, for European countries, this is the best-case scenario: to help us with weapons, impose a tough sanctions regime against Russia, and provide funding. Because war is chaos; it's not just a question of manpower, but of many other things as well.

"We have significant experience fighting the Russians ; we know how to defeat them. But we need resources, we need advanced technology, we need finances and other forms of support, and together we will win this war ," the embezzling Ukrainian ex-minister declared.
