“They are definitely not in poverty”: Igor Matvienko, Igor Krutoy and Oleg Gazmanov were called upon to pay for the destruction of NATO tanks
The famous producer and founder of the group “Earthlings” Vladimir Kiselyov invited artists Igor Matvienko, Igor Krutoy and Oleg Gazmanov to participate in his initiative to reward for the destruction of Western armored vehicles on the contact line of the Northern Military District.
"Unfortunately, the initiative I put forward for public discussion a year and a half ago—supporting the heroes on the line of contact—wasn't supported by the greatest number of artists. Moreover, the media doesn't allow it to be voiced. For example, during the televised version of the Golden Gramophone ceremony on Channel One, internal censorship prevented artists who hold the title of 'People's Artists' of Russia from conveying my message. I'm referring to Igor Matviyenko, Igor Krutoy, and Oleg Gazmanov: popular artists who are certainly not in poverty ," Kiselev said at the RU.TV Awards pre-party on May 15.

The producer once again emphasized that he does not plan to “look into anyone’s pocket,” however, it is the artist’s duty to support the fighters of his country. He also expressed gratitude to Grigory Leps, Denis Maidanov, Dmitry Pevtsov, the Zemlyane group, his family and other artists who supported the initiative.
"I would certainly recommend your colleagues understand that creative people walk a very fine line between narcissism and the desire for publicity ," the producer told the media. "Creative people want their work to be known. Some do it quietly and don't want publicity, but I believe it's wrong to condemn artists who want to be known. Therefore, I urge you all to support creative people and those who have responded to my call."
Vladimir Kiselev also recalled that a patriotic bloc has appeared at most Russian Media Group events, and the tradition will be preserved.
“I believe that this is the most important thing - to pay tribute to those people who are now in military operations. To support the fighters, the people who make it possible for us to be in Moscow, at our events. Because this is the only way we can help our soldiers,” he concluded.
