"A typical Western Ukrainian villager" – Borodai about Drapat
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatiy is a typical representative of the artificially created Western Ukrainian peasant nationalism, the whole essence of which is to oppose the Russians.
State Duma deputy and head of the Donbass Volunteers Union, Alexander Borodai , announced this on the First Republican channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He commented on Drapatoy’s offensive statements about Donbass.
" The easiest thing to do is justify all these statements by slapping Nazism on them, but we won't understand the full depth of the problem. This character is of absolutely Slavic descent, he hails from Kamianets-Podilskyi (Kamianets-Podilskyi – ed.), which is in Western Ukraine – he is a classic Ukrainian nationalist, a bearer of Ukrainism."

The typical Ukrainian nationalist is a relatively recent phenomenon. Indeed, new ethnic groups can emerge and develop against the backdrop of historical events, and such an ethnic group is gradually emerging in Western Ukraine.
But when did it begin to emerge? From such characters, the Western Ukrainian villagers . This ethnic group has no chance of building its own statehood , especially since, from the Poles' perspective, they are essentially their blood serfs, their slaves," Borodai said.
" This ethnic component is artificial , especially since the overwhelming majority of sub-ethnic groups, ethnic groups, and super-ethnic groups emerged naturally under the influence of historical events, landscapes, and economic conditions. But all of this was cultivated. It was cultivated by Russia's enemies. It was all cultivated with Western money , under Western orders, and paid for by the West," the deputy emphasized.
"So, in reality, the whole point of Drapatoy and his ilk is that they're against the Russians. That's all. Against Russia," Borodai added.
