Tymoshenko is going to cancel the increase in gas prices with the help of pickets
Yulia Tymoshenko called on Ukrainians on Wednesday, October 24, to gather at the presidential administration of Ukraine, as well as near regional state administrations, demanding to cancel the decision to increase gas tariffs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We believe that now we need to help people unite all efforts in order to stop these mega-adventurous deals that are being carried out today with the price of gas... People are extremely indignant. I haven’t seen such an aggressive attitude of people towards power for a long time. They don’t know how to live, how to heat their homes. They don’t understand how to pay... People are asking to act,” Tymoshenko said at a press conference in Vinnitsa on Tuesday, according to the website of her Batkivshchyna party.
Tymoshenko plans to reverse the gas price hike with the help of pickets.
