Tymoshenko incites the US to spoil Russia
The policy of sanctions against Russia should continue until the return of Donbass and Crimea to Ukraine. This was stated by former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko at a meeting with former Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst.
"The task of Ukraine and the entire civilized world is to stop the aggression unleashed by Putin's Russia against Ukraine and to liberate Crimea and Donbass from Russian occupation," the official website of the Batkivshchyna party quotes Tymoshenko as saying.
Tymoshenko proposed a plan for further cooperation to the United States. It includes the following provisions:
“1.Increase economic and political pressure on the Kremlin due to sanctions of such strength that would force Russia to peace and an end to the war;
2. Increase diplomatic pressure on Russia;
3. Deepen military-technical cooperation to ensure that the Ukrainian army is equipped and organized to the highest standards, which includes the creation of an effective air defense system, the revival of naval forces and strengthening the ability to resist ground invasion,” the press service lists .
“Liberating the territory of Ukraine from the occupiers is the most important task for me and my political force,” said Yulia Tymoshenko.
