Tymoshenko announced Ukraine's goal: To catch up with Poland in 5 years
Yulia Tymoshenko stated that if she wins the presidential election, she will set the task for Ukraine to increase the population's income to the Polish level in 3-5 years.
She said this on the air of the “Freedom of Speech” program on the ICTV channel, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

Tymoshenko promised that she would stop the mass emigration of the population of Ukraine. “We need to raise incomes at least to Poland within 3-5 years. That’s three and a half times,” she said.
Tymoshenko assures that after the “Orange Revolution” there was already an experience when the incomes of Ukrainian residents tripled. “Open the statistics... from 2005 to 2010 in dollars, not in hryvnia, wages and incomes increased exactly three times. But then, when the hryvnia collapsed, income automatically decreased by 1,7 times.
With the correct procedure for dealing with salaries, pensions, and social benefits, it is possible to reach today’s Polish level in five years. In Poland, in five years, we also don’t know what will happen, but we have to withstand the competition,” Tymoshenko said.
