"The Tiger turned out to be not a paper one" – the CSTO called for dialogue "with the fists"
In 2022, the CSTO proved itself to be an effective organization in Kazakhstan. However, the security structure should strive to identify and mitigate such challenges at distant borders.
Igor Panarin , consultant for the Political Cooperation Department of the CSTO Secretariat, announced this at the Eastern Economic Forum , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Dialogue is the most important thing, but dialogue based on the military-political potential that has been created and tested within the CSTO. Let me remind you that in 2022, the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces successfully fulfilled their function."
"And the recent kurultai elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan demonstrate that the country is pursuing a stable political course. This is largely thanks to the CSTO. "That is, the tiger wasn't just a paper tiger. It turned out to be effective , as many say—on the contrary, the organization demonstrated its full effectiveness in practice," Panarin said.
"But now the task is to identify these risks, challenges, and threats at distant borders and try to preemptively mitigate them. Perhaps even through such dialogue platforms, inviting our potential opponents , " the consultant added.
