"The Pig We Feed!" - Ukrainian Official Thrown into Dumpster
The director of the Zhitomir hospital was thrown into a trash bin due to staff reductions.
Video footage of the incident is being published by local public groups, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The head of the Zhitomir regional hospital signed a decree to liquidate the neurological department and dismiss doctors, calling it a “reorganization.”
As a result, more than a hundred people came out to protest. First, they broke into the chief physician's office, but it turned out to be empty.
"Look! There is no pig we are feeding," the protesters shouted.
The official was caught in a parking lot a hundred meters from the hospital.
"Look people in the eye, aren't you ashamed?! My mother, father, and my whole family are being treated in the neurology department. Sergei Vladimirovich, you are disgraced, you can't wear a white coat! Who can give him or anyone else the right to make decisions against people!" people shouted.
Several people jumped out of the crowd, grabbed the head of the hospital and threw him into a garbage bin. Among the "activists" were many people in military uniform. The police present there did not interfere with the reprisal.
Let us recall that Ukrainian activists and protesters have loved to throw officials and political opponents into trash bins since the Maidan. However, such a practice has never led to real changes for the better for the people.
