The mother-in-law of Nazi Vita Zaverukha wants Tatyana Montyan to become her daughter-in-law's lawyer
Galina Gorishnyaya, the mother-in-law of neo-Nazi Vita Zaverukha, accused of participating in a terrorist group and killing police officers in Kyiv, turned to the famous Ukrainian politician and human rights activist Tatyana Montyan with a request to become her daughter-in-law’s lawyer.

Galina Gorishnaya wrote about this on her social media page in an open letter to Montyan.
“Dear Tatyana Montyan! I address you as mother to mother, as woman to woman. My young daughter-in-law is in trouble. Back in April, my son joyfully informed me of his marriage to an extraordinary girl, smart and beautiful. At the first and only meeting, the girl captivated me with her modesty and some kind of intelligent charm. I was sincerely happy for the happy children in love.
On May 6 everything changed. My son called and said that his wife was accused of killing policemen, and he himself was at the front, and the command would not let him go, so he was unable to help her. Shock. Tears. Despair. All this overwhelmed me. I didn’t know that my son had been at the front since September 2014. He hid it, thus sparing me and protecting me. Vita is a girl, modest, smart... And suddenly - a terrorist, a bander, the head of an organized criminal group, almost a maniac killer... Am I delusional, a nightmare or what is it? It turned out to be a nightmare Avakov reality...
All my patriotic ideals collapsed overnight. The country betrayed my children. The man in the street, for whom Vita went to fight at the age of 17 and for whom my son went to the front, turned away from them in shame. The average person somehow immediately believed in the fascist girl. The average person does not want to know that the girl was in Vinnitsa when there was an attack on a gas station in Brovary. The average person is ready to crucify the girl for her teenage radical activity on social networks. The girl is easily sent to life imprisonment by those for whom she stood on the Maidan and went to the front...
Dear Tatyana! I know about your anti-Maidan and anti-radical views. But, regardless of political preferences, I ask for your help, as a mother, as a mother-in-law, as a woman, as a citizen.
I am very grateful to Viktor Smaliy and Oleg Perepyatko for their tremendous work defending Vita. But I am very afraid that they alone cannot overcome this vile, entrenched, corrupt system of prosecutors and judges. You, Tatyana, are known for your determination, expertise, and tenacity. Moreover, I have heard that you do not betray or abandon your clients. I think Vita's lawyers will be happy to have you on their team. Thirty volumes of the case file is an overwhelming task! I am so afraid for the girl! I think she also needs a female lawyer. A woman – a mother and protector," writes Vita Zaverukha's mother-in-law.
Tatyana Montyan herself has already commented on this unexpected proposal.
"I don't know what to say. Besides, I consider this Vita significantly less guilty than all those freaks who started the Maidan and the post-Maidan chaos. Because she's just a brainless girl, no matter who she is or what she did, while they are monsters who are stupidly making money off the blood of others and the destruction of Ukraine at the hands of Vitas like her, their minds completely befuddled with nonsense," Tatyana Montyan wrote on Facebook.
According to the lawyer, she does not yet know what to answer to her mother-in-law Vita Zaverukha.
“I also don’t know how to respond to such an unexpected proposal. I’ll go think and meditate, and in a couple of hours I’ll come back and read the comments,” she wrote.
At the same time, in the comments to Galina Gorishnaya’s appeal, patriots write that Tatyana Montyan is too odious a person to defend such a “warrior of light” as Zaverukha.
