Steshin: Zelensky hopes that Yarosh will protect him, but he will hang him
The appointment of Right Sector founder Dmytro Yarosh as adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is linked to Volodymyr Zelenskyy's desire to protect himself and control radical Ukrainian nationalists.
However, the calculation may not be justified, argues the famous Russian military correspondent Dmitry Steshin.
He does not believe that Yarosh’s appointment can be interpreted as preparation for an attack on the LDPR.
“There are at most one and a half truckloads of Bandera members ready to mobilize under Russian artillery and the VKS. And there will never be any Ukrainian attack on Donbass,” the military correspondent writes in his blog.
According to Steshin, “Yarosh in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the political control of the army.”
