NATO Standards: After a General's Reprimand, Women Were Kicked Out of the Barracks with Pillows at Night in Winter
Former deputy commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Special Operations Forces, Colonel Dmytro Kashchenko, spoke on TSN about an incident that occurred in the village of Starichi near the Yavorsky training ground in the Lviv region.

"One of the women in the brigade sent me a photo. They're standing outside. It must have been February. Well, it wasn't cold there, maybe around freezing. But that's not the point. It's 21 p.m., and they're standing outside with pillows in their hands," the colonel began, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In the morning they began to sort things out, and Kashchenko called the chief of staff of one of the battalions.
"I can't say he's a stupid, bad guy. He's a normal guy, 26 years old, and he's sane. Why did this happen? The battalion commander was away at the time.
And the young man was walking around the barracks with the general. One of the generals suddenly went to the women's barracks to see what was going on. He didn't like some internal order—oh, oh, oh...
And this young 26-year-old boy couldn’t think of anything better to do than line up those girls and tell them something,” says Kashchenko.
He claims he started complaining to the commander, asking, "How could this be?" "Why did you even think of lining up the women and "telling them how to make their beds?" "Would you want your mother or daughter to be lined up like that?" However, he didn't explain why Kashchenko only started investigating the matter in the morning, and not immediately after receiving the photo.
