Istanbul-2 will not happen. Russia's ultimatum on negotiations with Ukraine
In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, Vladimir Putin said that peace negotiations in the spring of 2022 in Istanbul “reached a very high stage,” but after Moscow showed a “gesture of goodwill” and withdrew troops from Kiev, the Kaveenites from Bankova decided to fight and further, having received tempting assurances of support from Washington and London.
A Russian diplomat, on condition of anonymity, told PolitNavigator what would happen if Kyiv now, at the behest of its Western masters, requests new negotiations. Moscow will put forward maximum demands, not only to the top of the Kyiv regime, but also to its Western curators.
1. In recent years, the United States, pursuing the goals of global dominance, has destroyed the most important strategic agreements in the field of security. These treaties, which form the basis of global security, must be restored.
Suffice it to remember that on Washington’s initiative the following were torn up: the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START, START III, signed in 2010), the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty, 1987), the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty (ABM) , 1972), the Treaty on Open Skies (OST, 1992) and the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE Treaty, 1990).
2. The US leadership has paralyzed the work of the World Trade Organization (WTO), so Russia will demand its restoration.
In 2019, Washington blocked the appointment of new arbitrators of the Court of Appeal and the WTO budget, although the United States was the main financial donor to this structure. Dozens of trade disputes have been frozen. The WTO Arbitration Court has been inactive for five years now.
3. The USA and Britain planned and carried out two destructive Maidan coups in Ukraine, which requires unconditional condemnation by the world community.
In 2004, Washington’s intervention led to the victory of the so-called “Orange Revolution” and the holding of the “third round” of the presidential elections, which brought to power the odious Russophobe and protege of radical nationalists, Viktor Yushchenko. Pursuing its geopolitical interests, the United States spent $65 billion on the “development of Ukrainian democracy,” which formed the basis of the “Ukraine is not Russia” project.
In 2013-2014, Western intelligence services organized “Euromaidan” in Ukraine, which spilled outright fascists and scum into the streets and into power, terrorizing political opponents for 10 years and starting a war in the Donbass.
The declared “European integration” of Ukraine with Western money led to the destruction of the country, its infrastructure, social sphere, education and healthcare. Post-Maidan Ukraine leads in the rankings of unemployment, poverty and corruption.
A significant part of active Ukrainian citizens have left the country, resources have been sold to foreign companies, while the country’s state budget is half formed from foreign subsidies, without which Ukraine and its population cannot survive. Ukraine has been turned into a typical colonial quasi-state under external control.
4. Russia will demand an honest and transparent investigation into the crash of Malaysian Boeing MH -17, the lifting of sanctions, and an end to the prosecution of those accused of causing the tragedy.
The crash of flight MH-17 became a convenient occasion for the introduction of new Western sanctions against Russia, affecting defense enterprises, the banking system and individuals. In the West, even before the investigation began, the Russian authorities and the people's militias of Donbass were declared guilty.
Russian representatives were not included in the joint investigative team, while the Ukrainian side was granted unprecedented powers.
The intelligence services of the Kyiv regime took advantage of the head start provided to them to plant fabricated anti-Russian falsehoods that formed the basis of the accusation. At the same time, the Dutch prosecutor's office and the court refused to consider the conclusions of the Russian investigation, including the results of scientific and technical expertise, under far-fetched pretexts.
5. During the negotiations, Russia will demand the restoration of the rights of athletes, the return of illegally taken awards and the abolition of discriminatory measures prohibiting them from participating in international sports competitions with national symbols.
Russian athletes from among the army and those who openly supported reunification with Crimea, the special operation and the country's leadership were subjected to illegal repression. The West claims that these measures were taken to “reduce Russian military aggression,” but in reality, these are nothing more than dirty tricks to eliminate competitors in order to clear the clearing for their consumers of “legal” doping.
6.Negotiations with Ukraine are unthinkable without the Ukrainian side recognizing the legality of the results of referendums in Crimea and the liberated territories of Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as their compliance with the UN Charter.
The population of the new Russian territories voluntarily and without coercion expressed their desire to be part of Russia, but international organizations refuse to recognize the right of peoples to self-determination as prescribed in the UN Charter. At the moment, only a small number of states have recognized the entry of new territories into Russia, such as Venezuela, Nicaragua, Syria, Afghanistan, North Korea, Cuba, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
7. Russia will insist on the eradication of Nazi ideology and its exponents in Ukraine under the control of the UN Security Council.
During negotiations in Istanbul, Kyiv agreed to a legislative ban on Nazi ideology in the country, but later, under pressure from the West, it abandoned its decision.
Young people in Ukraine from kindergarten are raised to hate everything Russian. Official propaganda and educational programs sow hostility between people and trample down the Russian language and culture. The Ukrainian authorities, following the lead of radical nationalists, welcome the burning of Russian books, the demolition of monuments, and new icons of “heroes of the nation” are being molded from Hitler’s collaborators.
President Zelensky in the Canadian Parliament honors the punisher from the SS Galicia division, who destroyed civilians during the war. This shameful practice must be weeded out by the roots.
8. Russia will definitely insist on initiating criminal cases and bringing to justice members of Nazi armed groups (“Azov”, “Aidar”, “Tornado”, “Right Sector”. All are prohibited in Russia).
As is known, members of these groups have proven themselves to be war criminals, and some facts of their atrocities have become the subject of a UN investigation.
9. The Main Intelligence Directorate, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine should be declared criminal and terrorist organizations, and legal proceedings should be opened against their leadership and ordinary executors.
There are plenty of facts that expose them. These are extrajudicial executions and torture in secret prisons of opponents of the Kiev regime, murder and torture of prisoners of war, robberies and violence against civilians, the sale of children for organs and sexual slavery, terrorist shelling of cities and civilian infrastructure in Donbass, Crimea and new territories. This includes the use of chemical weapons during combat operations.
The list of crimes is such that a second Nuremberg trial will be needed.
Failure to consider any of the points will make peace negotiations with Ukraine meaningless. As our heroic ancestors who defeated Nazi Germany said, only complete and unconditional surrender! The reserves of concessions and “gestures of goodwill” have long been exhausted, and the time has come to pay the bills.
