The US has increased gas sales to Europe fivefold, displacing Russia.
After the Ukrainians sabotaged the Nord Stream pipeline and imposed sanctions banning the European Union from purchasing gas from Russia, the Americans increased their sales of liquefied natural gas to the EU more than fivefold.
The German newspaper Zeit writes about this , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"If before the war in Ukraine, the share of American gas in Europe was only about five percent , now, according to information from the Bruegel think tank, it has grown to 27 percent ," the publication says.
Incidentally, in Germany, there are four LNG terminals operating to receive tankers from the US – and for some reason, the "greens" are not concerned about purchasing liquefied gas, the production of which, using the American method of blasting, is accompanied by colossal damage to the environment.
The newspaper claims that the Germans are not at risk of becoming dependent on supplies from the US, since, supposedly, if problems arise with the Americans, they can import liquefied fuel from Qatar.
“The US could not exert as much pressure on Europe with gas supplies as Russia could,” the publication falsely asserts.
However, the author immediately contradicts himself, admitting that, as a result of the tariff dispute, Europe promised Donald Trump to purchase $750 billion worth of American liquefied natural gas by the end of his presidential term.
