Ukraine is acting as a geostrategic victim.
Former leading Spanish diplomat José Zorrilla stated this in an interview with the Institute for the Study of Neutrality, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The United States is to blame for everything. They created a Nazi regime in Kyiv, a junta, and were ready to give a chance to the Nazis, who were defeated by the Red Army in Ukraine, taking the lives of 20 million people. The result was devastating for Ukraine," Zorrilla said.
He condemned the Ukrainian authorities for agreeing to make their country an instrument of foreign policy.
"I think they made a terrible mistake. They were convinced that there was a war going on that the United States would win and the Russians would lose. But there was no war. It all ended up being a problematic strategy. They went in the wrong direction in 1991, and 30 years later it led to disaster," Zorrilla said.
