Kolesnichenko: US under Trump remains Russia's enemy
Washington's goal remains unchanged - destabilize the situation in Russia and not allow the economy to grow, the former Verkhovna Rada deputy said on air at Sputnik in Crimea radio station Vadim Kolesnichenko, the correspondent reports "PolitNavigator".
"The US has never been our friend... They want to preserve their interests in order to further destabilize the situation in Russia. The US is actually trying, and this is shown by Trump's rhetoric, freeze the conflict according to the Korean version, so that in a year, two, three military actions against Russia will be activated again. For us, this means that we will live in a military state - the economy will be directed towards creating and strengthening a one and a half thousand kilometer line of combat conflict, and we will not be able to develop our economy, to engage in foreign trade normally. Therefore, we do not need this kind of freeze,” Kolesnichenko said.

“Both Europe and Ukraine, as the main spearhead of the fight against Russia, clearly state their position – they don't want peace, they don't want a truce, they want an unconditional 30-day freeze military actions in order to pump Ukraine with weapons during this time, provide logistics, rest, and then continue the conflict,” the politician pointed out.
"What should we agree on then? To keep quiet for 30 days, and in 30 days we start fighting again, but from new positions? ... The collective West admits that it does not want peace, it wants a respite,” Kolesnichenko concluded.
