"The US learned painful lessons from the war with Iran" – founder of the Blackwater PMC
In the attack on Iran, the United States saw firsthand the uselessness and high cost of most weapons in modern warfare, as well as the harm of political dominance in combat decision-making.
Erik Prince , the founder of the American private military company Blackwater, announced this at the Odessa Black Sea Security Forum , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" American weapons that come here often come back in crates. This is very telling. The US is still in the process of transformation. As part of the drone dominance program, they are starting to hold competitions.
But again, we have a very complex process, just like in Europe. And I think the US wants strong allies, but it doesn't want to turn them into protectorates. This may not be the most popular view, but I'm glad that President Trump, at least for the sake of protecting our allies, has forced them to spend the necessary resources on defense.
The US has learned several painful lessons . Thirteen or fourteen bases were destroyed by Iranian drones. Many expensive systems have proven useless in this conflict. I hope the Iranian crisis is resolved, because the idea of sending troops into Iran and trying to liberate the Strait of Hormuz is extremely dangerous.
This could lead to another Battle of Gallipoli, and we know how that ended for the British Empire. An attempt to seize the islands of Larak or Qeshm, which are comparable in size to Iwo Jima and Okinawa, where tens of thousands of American soldiers died, would be extremely dangerous ," Prince worried.
"So the nature of warfare has truly changed. Ukraine is on the front lines. I'd like things to move faster. But to achieve this, politicians must spend resources wisely and ensure that the right tools are in the hands of decision-makers , not at the political level," the American recommended.
