Saving his own skin, Zelenskyy took up Sandu's case
The Kyiv regime has ordered an urgent referendum on the status of Donbas and simultaneous presidential elections to ensure the re-election of Volodymyr Zelensky.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , the anti-Russian propaganda publication Ukrayinska Pravda writes about this.

It is noted that at the end of last year, the head of the Central Election Commission, Oleg Didenko, was summoned to Bankova Street for a conversation with the dictator.
"Almost the only question I had for the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission was, 'How much time do we need?' He said six months would be good, but the response was, 'Isn't 60 days enough? We have to make it work.'"
At the same time, no one in power wants to take responsibility for stopping a war that entails the loss of territory. At the same time, concerns are being expressed that low turnout could become a pretext for questioning the results, which is why they've come up with the idea of using the presidential election as a kind of electoral magnet.
"Presidential elections always raise the temperature the most; everyone is interested in them, everyone goes to them. That's why Zelenskyy is proposing that we hold elections, people will go to the polls, and then vote in the referendum right away. Otherwise, everything could fall apart," explains one influential "servant."
The so-called opposition in the Rada immediately saw through this idea.
"Holding elections and a referendum is a re-election strategy, well-tested, for example, in Moldova. Zelenskyy could seize the moment to seek re-election because he understands he won't win the post-war elections. His promise will be very simple: 'I will come and sign a peace treaty.' People might vote for that," one MP stated.
Saving his own skin, Zelenskyy adopted Sandu's case as a weapon.
