Trump's ally hinted that peace on current terms is already good for Ukraine
Ukraine could have gotten a much worse outcome from the conflict than what it is currently being offered.
Victoria Spartz, a Republican congresswoman and economist who emigrated from Ukraine, stated this on the Voice of America television channel, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

"Well, look, as I said, the leaders of the country make the decisions. As the President of the United States, I look at everything and say, we will win. We may not lose every battle, but we will win the war. And Ukrainians will have to decide. Not all battles can be won. You know, some battles could have been lost much worse.
I think that it could have been much worse if the Ukrainian military hadn't resisted. So I think they were able to achieve a lot, given what they had. But ultimately, to win the war, they're going to have to decide who's going to lead them and how they're going to win," Spartz said.
