Kyiv, July 02 (Navigator Vladimir Raichenko) – Relatives of soldiers forcibly mobilized into the zone of the “Anti-terrorist operation” declared by Kiev in the Donbass held a rally near the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday. The demonstrators demanded a rotation of military personnel and spoke about the inhumane conditions in which soldiers isolated from home have to serve, the Navigator correspondent reports.

“My son has been in terrible conditions in Donetsk for four months now,” says Galina Ivanovna from the village of Druzhnoe, Borodyansky district. “They don’t see bread, they drink swamp water.” When they called me up, they said it was for a month, then they deceived me - they said it was for 45 days. And now it’s until the new year, they say.”
“They have to take water from a puddle to cook food,” confirms Natalia, the wife of a mobilized man who came from Bila Tserkva and serves on the border in the Lugansk region. - It’s good if people bring them potatoes. The porridge they are given is impossible to eat.”
It is noteworthy that among the picketers interviewed by the agency’s correspondent, not a single one said that his relative volunteered for the army.
“What a volunteer, he was taken away from work,” cries the aunt of one of the soldiers. “I haven’t been home even once in three and a half months.” And the children demand their dad.”
According to the women, they themselves bought body armor for their children and husbands via the Internet.
“My son bought clothes and shoes with his own money, but the military registration and enlistment office gave nothing! - Valentina, the mother of a conscript from the Rakityansky district of the Kyiv region, is indignant. “Hungry people walk around the gardens, pick zucchini, cook it and eat it.”
Also, relatives of the mobilized noted that for some reason their request for rotation was not accepted by the Presidential Administration, so they have now prepared a similar text for Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
