Starting next year, Russian gas will go to Europe under the cover of Azerbaijan, - forecast of the Ukrainian grant-eater
After the contract for Russian gas transit to European countries via Ukraine expires on January 1, 2025, deliveries will continue, but under different schemes. Ukrainian political scientist Mykhailo Honchar, who works for Western grants, stated this on the Kyiv 24 television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The idea is that at this stage, the scheme might appear legitimate, and even Russia might agree. Especially since in this situation, Russia would gain leverage over Azerbaijan... Similarly, when Turkmen gas was going to Ukraine, the scheme was the same: Turkmen gas was transported to Russia via the Central Asia-Center pipeline. It wasn't physically delivered to Ukraine, but simply shipped from the Russian side, from Gazprom, in the corresponding volume. Moreover, the transit fee was charged as if the gas were actually being delivered.
So here, too, we need to consider the beauty of the game. The Azerbaijani gas won't physically move, but this payment will be made as a payment for physical transit. Accordingly, it can be divided.
The situation could then develop differently, suggesting that Europe wants more Azerbaijani gas, but there's no more , because they're only producing as much as they can consume and sell. But where will they get it? Gazprom has the surplus , and it's willing to sell it, so it sells it to an Azerbaijani company.
"It doesn't necessarily have to be SOCAR, to avoid damaging its reputation. A joint venture could be created, and it would purchase this excess gas from Gazprom. And who would say it's Gazprom's gas? It's gas from a private company, and it wants to sell it to Europe," Gonchar stated.
