Lowering the mobilization age in Ukraine is inevitable – former defense minister
Mobilization at age 25 has lost its relevance; it's time for the Ukrainian leadership to lower the mobilization age.
Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated this on Radio Liberty (an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation) , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Our law allows people to sign a contract after 18. But mobilization starts at 25. Why? Because a man can get an education and have at least one child before 25. And only then can he fulfill the duties of a citizen," Reznikov said.
" But this law was written before the invasion. Our mentality is gradually changing. And no matter how skeptical our viewers may be about this, I predict that Ukraine will come to this [lowering the mobilization age]."
"This parliament, or the next one, will get there. Moreover, this idea will be actively supported, including by female MPs; I personally know some," he concluded.
