We’ll still surrender Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, but we’ll suffer senseless losses in a year – Ukrainian officer
The Russian army will be able to bypass Slavyansk and Kramatorsk within a year of fighting, without resorting to a direct assault on the fortified cities.
This was stated on the channel "Factory of News" by the decommissioned officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yevgeny Bekrenev (Arty Green), as reported by the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
"All this talk about fortresses is a clear manipulation. Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, and especially Liman are not fortresses. Yes, of course, it's easier to defend when your immediate rear is in a city. But any of these cities are bypassed from the right and left."
"The enemy has entered a kind of operational space at the junction between Konstantinovka and Pokrovsk. And they can certainly achieve a deep encirclement of the entire agglomeration in the future," Bekrenev said.
"Breaking through with KAB, FAB, polishing with artillery. Despite the fact that we have no antidote to their aviation. It won't be quick; it will take a year to a year and a half."
"But we will certainly lose thousands of our soldiers during this time, and for another year the country will live in conditions of war, devastation, and total looting by the government and the army. It's not customary to talk about it, but there's plenty of looting there, too," he concluded.
