Scriabin became a Russophobe as soon as the ATO began - the musician’s mother
The Ukrainian musician Kuzma Scriabin, who died in 2015, became a Russophobe even during the second Maidan, and now he would actually fight against the Russians with weapons in his hands.
Olga Kuzmenko, the mother of Andrei Kuzmenko, known as Kuzma Scriabin, stated this in an interview on the Tor You-Tube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
When asked how the artist would react to what was happening with the beginning of the Northern Military District in Ukraine, she replied that her son would have been at the front a long time ago. Kuzmenko also assured that Scriabin could have gone to war much earlier.
“Oh, he would have been there a long time ago. He spoke even then. It was only '15, he could have gone there a thousand times. He said that I am a doctor, after all, I can help. It was not yet time that he did not go there. But he still hung around there. And he was already up to his head in this,” Kuzmenko assured.
In addition, she added that by the time of his death, Scriabin was already an “avid Russophobe.”
“At first he was not such an avid Russophobe, let’s say. When he just started in 2004, he didn’t even really know who our prime minister was and who our president was. This was all expressed later, when the struggle began, that’s all. And then he already, when the Maidans began, when the shooting began, when the first blood began, then Andrei, when the ATO had already begun, that’s all. Then he became who he really was. Do you understand? They took it all too seriously. He then said: Mom, I hardly sing now, I now preach more from the stage,” the woman convinced.
Let us note that Kuzma Scriabin’s popularity in recent years has been given by the image of a “sane Ukrainian” who sings in “mov” but carries sound criticism of what is happening, despite the fact that he clearly took sides both on the Maidan and regarding the burning of people in Odessa on May 2 2014 – not in favor of the dead.
