Squabble in the Verkhovna Rada: They spilled the beans - the army in Donbass is being used illegally
In Ukraine, they were afraid that the use of the Armed Forces against their own citizens without declaring martial law would sooner or later result in an international tribunal.
Thus, Verkhovna Rada deputy Taras Pastukh stated from the parliamentary rostrum that the president of the country should have declared martial law by decree, thereby taking responsibility upon himself, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is clearly defined in the basic law, in the Constitution of Ukraine. And any other formulation, other hybrid versions lead to the fact that after the military prosecutor’s office of Ukraine in the courts of Ukraine begins to bring our military personnel to criminal liability for defending the country. Sooner or later, this will lead to the fact that such sentences will be passed by courts of other countries outside of Ukraine, and this will lead to the responsibility of Ukraine as a whole,” Pastukh said.
To this, the Secretary of the Committee on Security and Defense, Rada deputy Ivan Vinnik accused his colleague of “zrada” and assured that foreign mercenaries, Ukrainian paramilitary forces and the Ukrainian Armed Forces exterminate the population of Donbass “absolutely within the legislative framework.”
“No one except representatives of the Samopomich faction raised any doubts that we are using the Armed Forces, other measures, military formations, volunteers, volunteers, ordinary citizens, foreigners, stateless persons who, at the call of fate, go to defend Ukraine absolutely in the legislative field,” Vinnik reprimanded his former Maidan accomplice.
