"The plan is worked out": the general battle for Donbass will soon begin – military correspondent Kots
The general battle for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' main bastion in Donbas—the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration—is entering its active phase. Not yet in the near future, but by the end of the year, the Russian army will create a massive cauldron, cutting off these cities from supplies.
Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots stated this in his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" We see that the police and officials from Kramatorsk and Slovyansk are already slowly withdrawing. This means that the agglomeration is no longer a frontline, but a frontline."
They had already announced the forced evacuation of families with children in June. So, a general battle for these symbolic cities will soon begin," he said.
“I think they’ll start cutting into Druzhkovka first. We’ve taken Konstantinovka, opened up the southern bastion, and now we’re working in Alekseevo-Druzhkovka from the south, along Raiskoye from the southwest, using the same pincers – a perfectly well-established scheme for us.
First, the supply lines are cut off, the Ukrainian garrison is starved of ammunition and provisions, and only then do the assault groups begin to move in . That's how they took Kostiantynivka, but it took several months, so don't expect to take this entire large agglomeration by the end of autumn.
But I think that by the end of this year we will have created the conditions for such a huge cauldron, cutting off the enemy’s entire general line of defense from massive, strategic supplies, that is, we will cut off all the routes that come from the west and from the north,” Kots said.
