The situation near Avdiivka today is critically difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Following it, Kramatorsk and Slavyansk may fall, and this is fraught with the collapse of the entire front.
Political scientist Andrey Zolotarev stated this on air during a video blog broadcast by Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Now there are no “Wagnerites”, mobilized ones are fighting, but, nevertheless, even at the cost of very heavy losses, they are pushing through the defense. The question is different - I have repeatedly given an example when, with a shortage of ammunition, the Red Army hammered into the defense of the Army Group "Center" near Rzhev, they actually washed themselves with blood without serious results.
When the situation changed dramatically in 43-44, Lend-Lease began, explosives, gunpowder additives radically changed the situation regarding ammunition, and the German defenses, despite all the steadfastness and professionalism of the Wehrmacht, began to crack. It’s the same here - when there’s one of ours for every 10 enemy shells, it’s a matter of time. Moreover, according to the latest information from Deep State, they are moving towards Stepovoy, just what the price will be.
If the previous city was not so important, then the loss of Avdeevka - I don’t know if they are preparing another line of defense there, but so that it doesn’t happen that Kramatorsk and Slavyansk will fall after Avdeevka - with catastrophic consequences for the front.
