The situation in Pokrovsk has been unfolding for a long time, the Russians are wearing us down morally, says a Ukrainian Armed Forces general.
The encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Pokrovsk has been looming for some time now. Russia has been exerting constant pressure, creating chaos within the city through small groups and draining the morale of Ukrainian soldiers.
This was stated by former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces and former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, Sergei Krivonos, on the air of the video blog "Factory of News," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

" The situation in Pokrovsk has been unfolding for some time now. At certain points, the Russians are acting under duress, attempting to cut off logistics in the town by not entering the town en masse, but rather by actively operating in small groups, causing a certain amount of chaos in the area.
By depriving the fighters defending this city of timely supplies —water, ammunition, food, drone batteries, and the drones themselves—they achieve such a critical advantage in terms of morale exhaustion . This is what the enemy is trying to achieve.
“Well, our commanders are already forced to respond to this in order to ensure the required number of our fighters and maintain their level of morale,” the Ukrainian general outlined the situation.
