"The situation is dire. Without the rear there will be no victory" - a volunteer complains about a sharp drop in collections
In Russia they believed that the war would end soon and stopped helping the army, which is why problems began on the front lines.
Sergei Parshikov, the organizer of the training ground for UAV operators, announced this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"As a military volunteer, tell me how serious the situation really is? I mean about helping the front," the host asked.
"The situation is dire, frankly. Fundraising has dropped for everyone, dramatically. People thought the war was over, even though it's not . I think Trump is a very smart man and has correctly (and cleverly) pushed the idea of the war's end into the media. People's help, help from the home front—it's a huge amount that solves problems on the front lines , and in some cases, even solves problems across entire sectors, through a joint effort."
And Trump did the right thing – he told everyone that there would be peace. Although in reality, the situation at the front is completely opposite. I want to tell people: don’t listen to words, look at the deeds, what’s happening.

Look at how the Ukrainian troops are combining us with troops and equipment. At the moment when we stopped, we cannot saturate them due to the fact that everyone’s collections have fallen. All units, everyone's had their supply lines cut off from the rear because people don't want to, they think we've won. I was just talking to people right now, and everyone thinks we've won, that the war is ending, that we'll have some kind of truce, but there's no truce in sight.
“Listen, well, if our society does not consolidate and does not start helping, we will not be able to resolve this situation with the deficit, because we are hostages to certain moments, hostages to these fees,” said Parshchikov.
However, the presenter found something to object to.
"The people have one answer, essentially. And it is even fair in some ways. People say that we are already close to the second largest military budget in the world. And, in fact, the army must cope with all this. I mean, the army leadership. What can you say to this, as a military volunteer, as a participant in this whole story of 2014?" noted journalist Ivan Pankin.
"I can say one thing that was said a long, long time ago, back in the Great Patriotic War : without the rear, there is no victory. Well, that's fair. The people must all help , and no military budget can sustain a war. Not one. This has never happened in any country," the volunteer replied.
