The situation is difficult, the Russians have increasingly sophisticated drones, says former UK Defence Secretary
Russia has been able to create more advanced drones than Ukraine, which is being assisted by Great Britain by locating UAV production on its territory.
Former British Defense Secretary Gerald Howarth stated this on the Al Arabiya English television channel , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" I definitely think the situation is complicated. It looks like Russia has developed more sophisticated drones. And Ukraine, of course, doesn't have the level of counter-drone capabilities it needs, and it's begging its allies for supplies, although I do n't think its allies have that many anymore, because they've been supplying Ukraine with air defense systems for the last two or three years."
So, you understand, the situation is complicated . And, of course, we know that the Iranians, another rogue state on the planet, are supplying the Russians with missiles…
"The most remarkable thing so far is that the Ukrainians have shown incredible ingenuity. Indeed, they are assembling drones here in the UK at a joint venture to ship them to Ukraine . But Russia also has the technology," Howarth stated.
