Simferopol United Russia members swear that Crimean Tatars en masse want to join the party in power

Representative of the executive committee of the Simferopol city branch of United Russia Inna Fisina stated this on the air of a talk show on the Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR “Gravity”.
“On April 21, the department began work, and you know, in just a few days a huge number, including Crimean Tatars, came to our office. About 30% are Russian. Those who wrote an application to join the party, who want to be supporters of United Russia,” she noted.
“Therefore, it is very interesting for me, and no matter how strange it is to hear the opinion of Mustafa Dzhemilev and Chubarov, it seems to me that this does not reflect all the opinions of the Crimean Tatar people. And evidence of this is the number of supporters of the United Russia party who come to us, and, indeed, even want to support financially, and want to participate in all the party’s events,” emphasized Inna Fishina.
