"They sit, watch from drones and command": Ukrainian Armed Forces officer complains about sharp decline in the level of generals
For Ukrainian generals, the main indicator of the success of units is the high level of losses among personnel. This was stated on the Alfa Media channel by Anton Cherny, an officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a participant in the punitive operation in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"We now have a commander who sits at the command post and has never been to the plantings. He only watches them from drones.
And before there was a brigade commander who was with us everywhere, conducting constant training. We came to the PPD, and felt that we were needed.
And this one is a careerist, he doesn’t care how many people he kills. He was given a task, and he doesn’t think about how to save the personnel, but he thinks about how to do it so that his superiors don’t scold him,” said Cherny.
"Where did they [good commanders] go? I don't even know. Many are probably disappointed. Let's even remember that battalion commander Grib shot himself because the command drove him to it.
Everything is so interesting here – If you don't have any deaths, it's as if you're not fighting. If someone didn’t die, it means you didn’t carry out the assigned task,” the VSU soldier added.
