The States don’t care who Ukraine is and what it’s for – Klimkin
For the United States, restoring good relations with Russia is much more important than the fate of Ukraine.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated this on the DW television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Putin believes that Trump is completely indifferent to what's happening in Ukraine , and indeed, for some of Trump's reality, it's not that they're completely indifferent to who Ukraine is and what it is, but they don't think Ukraine is important. For them, normalizing relations with Russia is much more important , from many perspectives.
And this means that Putin will try to say: "Donald, well, you see, here is Ukraine, it is in your way, and we will do this, and we will do this here, and we will do something here." And actually, this is the logic, okay, let it be: "You said a ceasefire, well, let's stop it, but for this we need one, two, three. But if we do not decide this now, then these must be the conditions for a ceasefire, since Moscow does not want an unconditional ceasefire," Klimkin said.
