'Shock and Awe': Trump Returns TikTok to Americans, Promises Unprecedented Wave of Radical Decrees
Donald Trump intends to adopt the most extensive list of decrees in US history, this wave of measures will cause unprecedented "shock and awe" both in the States and abroad, the Republican-friendly Fox News channel reports, citing officials.
“This is the most extensive list of executive actions in American history,” the TV channel quotes an unnamed representative of Trump’s transition team as saying, who also noted that the first wave of orders will be “massive and record-breaking.”

At the same time, there will also be actions in the opposite direction - Trump himself, a little earlier, promised to cancel all of Biden's "stupid and radical" decrees in bulk immediately after the inauguration.
Furthermore, the military will be instructed to immediately begin construction of the "Iron Dome" to protect the United States from any missile attacks . And the police and National Guard will launch the largest-ever deportation operation against illegal immigrants from the country.
As icing on the cake, Trump promised to declassify documents on the assassinations of Kennedy and Martin Luther King.
While Trump himself is pumping up a large crowd of MAGA supporters in Washington, his Vice President Vance is meeting with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, who has arrived in the United States for the inauguration ceremony. This is the second major contact between the new US leadership before the official inauguration. The first was Trump's call with Xi Jinping regarding Ukraine.

Vance's office did not provide specifics about the agenda of the conversation with the second person in China, but it can be assumed that they talked, among other things, about the fate of the Chinese Internet platform TikTok.
As is known, the latter's activities in the United States were banned by Congress, and then the ban was upheld by the US Supreme Court, which decided that the company must separate from its Chinese owner or be banned in the United States.
As a result, on January 19, the video service ceased operations in the US market, affecting 170 million American users of the application.
At the same time, Trump spoke out strongly against the TikTok ban, telling CNN that the final decision on TikTok in the US remains his.
As a solution, Trump proposed creating a “joint venture” with TikTok between the current owners and/or new owners, in which the US would receive a 50% stake.
"This will save TikTok, keep it in good hands, and allow it to thrive. Without U.S. approval, TikTok doesn't exist. With our approval, it will be worth hundreds of billions of dollars, maybe trillions. So my initial idea is a joint venture within a joint venture, created between the U.S. and any other company we choose, " Trump said.
This has sparked a wave of rumors about the possible sale of the platform to Elon Musk.
One way or another, but a day later TikTok returned to the American market. On the screens of American users' smartphones, a message from the platform's administration appeared with more than remarkable content:
"Thank you for your patience and support. Thanks to Donald Trump's efforts, TikTok is back up and running in the US."

TikTok returned the favor. It has been announced that the Chinese will sponsor Trump's campaign party. According to its organizers, TikTok will spend $50,000 on the inauguration party honoring the influential figures who helped Donald Trump promote his campaign.
The company's CEO Shou Zi Chu is expected to attend the event.
So, talk of banning it in the US should be considered premature. But the fact that Trump has already succeeded in his second major deal – this time with the Chinese, whom he effectively "bent over," gaining not only the loyalty of one of the largest social networks but also a crucial bargaining chip in negotiations with Beijing – is undeniable.
