Donetsk mines begin strike against ATO

Donetsk, May 27 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Donetsk, workers of several mines went on strike against the military operation carried out by Ukrainian security forces in the Donbass.

The action is attended by mines named after Skochinsky, named after Abakumov, named after Chelyuskintsev and the Trudovskaya mine. According to the Deputy Minister of the Coal Industry of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” Konstantin Kuzmin, other mines will soon join the strike.

People stand at the entrance gates, refuse to go down into the mine, hold rallies, and demand a halt to hostilities.

Let us remind you that the active phase of the Anti-Terrorist Operation continues in Donetsk and Slavyansk. The security forces promise to go “until victory.”
