Checkmate, dill: Why the DPR is better than the Poroshenko regime
Donetsk sociologist and blogger Denis Seleznev announced the start of work on a series of videos that will demonstrate at the average level the advantages that the DPR already has today in comparison with Petro Poroshenko’s Ukraine.
The topic of the first video was the situation with the supply of vaccines to clinics.
“Ukraine is not able to provide vaccination of the population even against influenza. As of early November, there are no vaccines in the vast majority of pharmacies in Ukraine, and delivery dates are constantly being postponed. In the absence of vaccines, doctors advise eating onions, garlic and lard. There are no other methods left to protect yourself from the epidemic. In the most optimistic case, up to 200 thousand doses could arrive in the country, which would cover 0,5% of the population.
The situation is different in the DPR. Here, vaccines appeared in pharmacies at the beginning of autumn. And since mid-October, free vaccination has been carried out for several categories of citizens totaling 100 thousand people (4% of the population) - the elderly, children, people with poor health, professional risk groups - teachers, doctors, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, civil servants. Everyone else can purchase the vaccine at a low price in a pharmacy, on free sale.
The vaccination itself, if the vaccine is available, can be done free of charge at medical posts in the republic. A small example that demonstrates the difference in the approaches of the two states towards the population,” Seleznev said.
