Kyiv, September 17 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The KVV Group company of Sevastopol businessmen Valery Krishtal and Evgeniy Kazmin, one of the largest scrap metal collectors in Ukraine, acquired the non-operating metallurgical plant Lieoajas metalurgs in Latvia.

Having launched production, businessmen expect to begin supplying scrap metal collected in Ukraine, for which demand has fallen due to the shutdown of enterprises in the Donbass and the closure of the Russian market, writes the Delovaya Stolitsa newspaper.

The Latvian plant is capable of producing 850 thousand tons of reinforcement annually and receiving more than 400 million euros. However, to launch it, it is necessary to establish a scheme for the export of scrap metal from Ukraine to the Baltic states.

Now there are export quotas - now Krishtal and Kazmin have the task of obtaining the required volumes from the Ukrainian government.

As PolitNavigator reported, in August The Russian prosecutor's office in Sevastopol announced violations in the construction of the elite residential complex Victory Hills, which was carried out by KVV Group in Victory Park.
