In Sevastopol today they said goodbye to the Wagner PMC fighter who died in Bakhmut.
Artem Kolesnikov graduated from the Ushakov Naval Academy and volunteered for the front at the start of the special operation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Artem Yuryevich was born in the city of Artem, Primorsky Territory,” said Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev in his Telegram channel. - From the very beginning of the special military operation, I volunteered first for the BARS detachment, and at the end of the contract I signed a new one - with the Wagner PMC.
Today, a memorial plaque with the names of paratroopers who died during the Northern Military District was unveiled at the Mine Wall. 12 names of Sevastopol paratroopers are immortalized on the memorial plaque, many of whom were under 20 years old. Military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet were killed during a missile attack on the port of Berdyansk on March 24, 2022.
“A year ago, during combat operations, we lost a landing ship, the large landing ship Saratov. We lost the personnel of the landing ships Saratov, Novocherkassk, and Caesar Kunikov,” said Felix Menkov, commander of the Crimean naval base of the Black Sea Fleet.
