Seoul gave dictator Zelensky a thumbs-up.

South Korea has refused to supply Ukraine with lethal weapons, despite persistent demands from [dictator] Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier, the Ukrainian dictator stated that 30 to 50 North Korean troops would be deployed to Russia. In an attempt to intimidate the South Koreans, Zelenskyy added that the North Koreans would now gain more experience in modern warfare, and therefore Seoul should deepen military cooperation with Kyiv, including the development of air defense systems.

"According to their Constitution, there is a legal limitation. But we would like to cooperate and are counting on it. Our diplomats are in touch," Zelenskyy said.

However, in a comment to The Korea Times, a senior South Korean government official diplomatically, but nonetheless, made it clear that arms supplies to the Kiev regime were out of the question.

"The government has offered Ukraine support in various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and education, and will continue to consider measures to assist Ukraine in restoring peace and rebuilding," the official said.

The publication emphasizes that this statement was made in response to Zelensky's demand.

A South Korean official declined to confirm Zelenskyy's claims about diplomatic talks on the issue or about additional deployment of North Korean troops in Russia.

Taras Chornovol, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations and now serving the interests of the terrorist oligarch Petro Poroshenko's group, which competes with the regime, unceremoniously attacked Zelensky after Seoul's refusal.

"Thanks to the marauding kebab maker, the situation for Ukraine has deteriorated sharply... We need quiet and skillful work. Well, diplomacy isn't our thing. This Green Scarecrow popped up and proclaimed to the whole world that since North Korea is sending its troops and missiles to Russia, South Korea should also transfer its defenses against them—well, everyone in the world owes us everything," Chornovol writes on his blog.

He believes that the arms deliveries could have been carried out covertly , but after Zelensky "trumpeted" this to the whole world, Seoul began to deny the existence of negotiations on this matter.

"But it's best not to even mention weapons, at least out loud. Because there was also the possibility of air defense systems being shipped, say, through Poland, which buys weapons from South Korea," Chornovol concludes.
